I moved to Dallas, TX in 2002 right after high school in San Antonio. I was raised in an Air Force family, and I’m lucky to have traveled outside of the country when I was little, that’s where I get me travel bug. My next dream destination…New Zealand.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Broadcast News Communications, which I had the opportunity to work as an Assignment desk editor at Fox 4 in Fort Worth, TX. This combination right out of college definitely contributed to my journalistic approach to writing and comprehension of targeted audiences. After television, I pursued retail sales where I cut my teeth in fashion marketing. One job lead to another and I found myself positioned as a Senior Stylist for Trunk Club in Deep Ellum, TX. I was able to leverage my sales and marketing skills to the fullest, becoming my own marketing director attracting C-Suite executives to the TC concept. My love for marketing grew so much to the point of starting my own business VPQ Jewelry in 2017 and growing it into VPQ Jewelry and Wellness. I found the love of not only marketing and driving results to my own business but to other small businesses as well.
